Working in Philippines

The Philippines offers finance, shared-services, accounting, technology, consulting, and customer-operations opportunities, especially in Metro Manila, Cebu, and emerging hubs such as Iloilo and Davao. Taguig, where this role is based, is a major business district with modern offices, restaurants, malls, and residential communities, although traffic and housing costs can be significant. Filipino culture is generally welcoming, family-oriented, and collaborative, with English widely used in business. Lifestyle options range from urban dining and nightlife to beaches, diving, hiking, and island travel. Foreign nationals normally need an employer-sponsored work visa or permit, while citizens of many countries may enter initially for short stays subject to immigration rules. Relocating employees should confirm sponsorship, medical requirements, taxation, accommodation, and registration procedures with EY and Philippine authorities before moving.
