The successful candidate should understand FATCA and CRS legislation, due-diligence obligations, reporting processes and client compliance requirements. In Bermuda, the firm works with the island’s internationally focused insurance, reinsurance, investment and corporate-services sectors. Working in Bermuda

Bermuda offers strong opportunities in insurance and reinsurance, financial services, investment funds, accounting, legal services, technology, tourism and professional consulting. The culture blends British traditions with Caribbean influences, and workplaces are generally professional, international and relationship-oriented. Lifestyle highlights include beaches, sailing, snorkeling, golf and a relaxed island pace, although housing, food and transportation can be expensive. Bermuda has no broad open work-permit system for foreign nationals; employers generally must sponsor a work permit and demonstrate that the role meets immigration requirements, with eligibility and processing rules subject to change. Candidates should secure an offer before relocating and confirm permit, health-insurance and accommodation arrangements. Most expatriates rent rather than buy, and commuting commonly involves buses, ferries or a permitted scooter. Tax and employment conditions should be checked with official Bermuda authorities before arrival.
