The Laundry Attendant is responsible for collecting, sorting, washing, drying, pressing, folding and distributing guest and hotel laundry in line with Rixos and health and safety standards. Candidates should ideally have previous laundry or housekeeping experience in a hotel, resort or commercial laundry, although training may be provided. Attention to detail, physical stamina and the ability to operate laundry equipment safely are important. The successful candidate is expected to maintain cleanliness and hygiene, handle linen carefully, meet daily production requirements and report damaged or missing items. Flexibility for shifts, weekends and public holidays, teamwork, reliability and a service-focused attitude are also expected.
