The Corporate Sales Manager is responsible for developing and managing corporate accounts, generating room, meeting and event business, and achieving revenue targets for Mama Shelter Dubai. Typical requirements include proven hotel or hospitality sales experience, strong knowledge of the UAE corporate market, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and confidence using CRM and sales-reporting systems. Fluency in English is expected; additional languages and an established network of corporate clients are advantageous. The successful candidate should be commercially driven, well organised, proactive and comfortable conducting sales calls, client visits, presentations and networking activities. They are also expected to build long-term relationships, monitor competitor activity, prepare accurate forecasts and work closely with revenue, reservations, events and operations teams.
Mama Shelter is a contemporary hospitality brand known for its lively atmosphere, colourful design, informal service and strong emphasis on social experiences. The brand combines hotel accommodation with restaurants, bars, events and communal spaces, positioning its properties as destinations for both travellers and local residents. Mama Shelter Dubai is located in the United Arab Emirates and serves leisure guests, business travellers, groups and the local corporate market. Its culture generally values creativity, energy, individuality, teamwork and genuine guest interaction rather than traditional formality. Mama Shelter operates within the wider Ennismore hospitality ecosystem, which has a strategic relationship with Accor, giving colleagues access to an international hospitality network and career opportunities across multiple brands and destinations. The Dubai property offers a fast-paced environment suited to professionals who enjoy sales, lifestyle hospitality and working with a diverse international clientele.
The United Arab Emirates is not an island, but it is a popular Gulf destination with strong opportunities in hotels, tourism, restaurants, events, aviation, retail, finance and technology. Dubai offers a highly international lifestyle, modern infrastructure, excellent dining and entertainment, beaches, desert activities and a large expatriate community. The culture blends Islamic traditions with a cosmopolitan business environment, so respectful dress, professional conduct and awareness of local customs are important. Employers normally sponsor work visas, medical checks and residence permits for overseas employees; candidates should not work on a tourist visa. Many companies provide health insurance, annual leave and sometimes accommodation or transport allowances, although packages vary. Housing and schooling can be expensive, particularly in Dubai. New arrivals should budget for deposits, transport and setup costs, verify the employment contract carefully, and confirm visa, insurance and relocation benefits before travelling.
