Delano is known for its relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere, stylish interiors, high-quality dining, beach and pool experiences, and personalised guest service. The working environment is multicultural and guest-focused, with strong emphasis on presentation, teamwork, service consistency, and creating memorable experiences.

Working in United Arab Emirates

The United Arab Emirates is not an island, but Dubai offers a coastal, resort-oriented lifestyle with beaches, warm weather, modern infrastructure, and a highly international population. Hospitality provides many opportunities in hotels, restaurants, resorts, events, aviation, and tourism, particularly in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Workplace culture is professional, multicultural, and service-driven; respect for local customs, modest public behaviour, punctuality, and religious observances is important. Accommodation, transport, meals, and medical insurance may be included in hospitality packages, although interns should confirm all benefits in writing. Most foreign nationals require employer-sponsored visas and work authorisation, and the sponsoring company normally manages the process. Applicants should have a valid passport, medical clearance, and relevant education documents. Living costs can be high, especially for housing, so check whether accommodation is provided. Dubai has excellent public transport, extensive shopping and entertainment, and an active expatriate community.
