The Graphic Designer supports Fairmont Singapore’s marketing, communications, events and commercial teams by creating polished visual content for digital channels, print collateral, promotions, social media and in-hotel materials. Candidates should have a diploma or degree in graphic design, visual communications or a related discipline, along with strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite and, ideally, digital design and basic video or photography. Experience in hospitality, luxury brands or a fast-paced agency environment is advantageous. The successful candidate is expected to demonstrate creativity, strong attention to detail, good typography and layout skills, brand consistency, time management and the ability to manage multiple deadlines. Excellent communication, collaboration and responsiveness are important when working with internal departments and external suppliers.
Fairmont Singapore is a luxury hotel located in the heart of Singapore’s Civic District, connected to Raffles City and close to major business, shopping and cultural attractions. The hotel offers more than 700 guestrooms and suites, extensive dining venues, meeting and event facilities, wellness services and access to a large integrated hospitality complex. Fairmont is part of Accor, a global hospitality group with a broad portfolio of luxury, premium, midscale and economy brands across many countries. The property serves international leisure travellers, corporate guests, groups and event clients. Its teams typically work in a multicultural, service-focused environment where presentation, guest experience, brand standards and collaboration are highly valued. A Graphic Designer may work closely with marketing, public relations, food and beverage, sales and hotel operations teams to promote the property and its experiences.
Singapore is a compact, highly connected city-state with strong opportunities in hospitality, tourism, finance, technology, healthcare, education and creative services. The culture is multicultural, with English widely used alongside Mandarin, Malay and Tamil. Life is generally safe and convenient, supported by excellent public transport, reliable services, diverse food options and a warm tropical climate. Housing can be expensive, especially near the city centre, so newcomers often compare shared accommodation with suburban apartments near MRT stations. International employees usually need an employer-sponsored work pass, such as an Employment Pass or S Pass, and approval depends on qualifications, salary, experience and prevailing government rules. Employers commonly guide successful candidates through the application process. New arrivals should budget for rent, transport, healthcare, deposits and daily expenses, and check employment, pass and tax requirements before relocating.
