The People & Culture Internship supports the hotel’s Human Resources team with recruitment coordination, employee records, onboarding, training administration, engagement activities, internal communication and general office tasks. Candidates are typically expected to be enrolled in or recently graduated from a hospitality, business or Human Resources programme, with strong communication, organisation and interpersonal skills. A professional attitude, discretion when handling confidential information, willingness to learn and comfort working in a multicultural hotel environment are important. Basic computer skills, especially Microsoft Office, and good spoken and written English are generally required. Previous hospitality or administrative experience is helpful but may not be essential for an internship.
Banyan Tree Dubai is a luxury resort in Dubai operated under Banyan Group, with Accor involved in the brand’s international hospitality network. The Banyan Tree brand is known for peaceful settings, refined accommodation, wellness experiences, thoughtful service and an emphasis on sustainability. Its Dubai operation serves leisure and business travellers through hospitality, dining, recreation and guest-service facilities. As part of a large international hotel environment, the resort provides exposure to multiple cultures, departments and professional standards. The People & Culture team supports recruitment, employee development, workplace engagement, training, staff welfare and compliance with UAE employment requirements. An internship with the property can provide practical experience in hotel HR while introducing candidates to the fast-paced, service-focused nature of luxury hospitality.
The UAE is not an island, but it offers coastal living, beaches and island destinations such as Palm Jumeirah, Yas Island and Bluewaters Island. Dubai provides strong opportunities in hospitality, tourism, events, retail, aviation, finance and technology, with many international hotels recruiting across departments. The culture is multicultural and generally welcoming, while local customs require respectful dress, behaviour and awareness of Islamic traditions. Lifestyle options range from beaches, restaurants and shopping to desert activities and cultural attractions. Employers normally arrange an employment or internship visa, medical checks and Emirates ID procedures; requirements vary by contract and nationality. Candidates should confirm whether accommodation, transport, meals, insurance and visa costs are included. Dubai is convenient and modern but can be expensive, particularly for housing. Public transport is useful, though many resort employees rely on staff transport. गर्म
