Familiarity with Opera or similar hotel systems is advantageous. The successful candidate is expected to manage changing priorities calmly, coordinate effectively with Housekeeping and Maintenance, protect guest preferences and privacy, and maintain Four Seasons service standards. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays is normally required, together with a professional appearance and a genuine commitment to personalized guest service.

Usual for Mauritius, varies by employer. Checked October 2026.
Senior staff often get more than line staff, for example a single room or a yearly home flight. Ask the employer what the job includes before you accept.
How it works: Work permit for line staff after a local-first test (there is a backlog), or an Occupation Permit from MUR 30,000 a month.
Never pay anyone for a visa or a job offer. A real employer pays the permit costs and never asks you for money.
