Candidates should have strong experience in SAP application management, SAP BTP or related enterprise technologies, IT service management, and team leadership. Knowledge of support governance, SLAs, problem management, integration, security, and continuous improvement is valuable. The role requires clear communication, customer-facing confidence, structured troubleshooting, and the ability to coordinate technical teams and business users. Experience working in consulting or managed-services environments, particularly with large public-sector or global clients, would be advantageous.

Malaysia offers varied opportunities in technology, shared services, consulting, finance, manufacturing, tourism, and digital commerce, with Kuala Lumpur and Penang being major employment centers. For an island lifestyle, Penang combines strong technology and services employment with heritage neighborhoods, beaches, excellent food, and a relaxed urban atmosphere. Langkawi is quieter and more tourism-focused, while the Perhentian, Redang, and Tioman islands are popular for diving and short breaks but have fewer year-round professional jobs. Malaysia is culturally diverse, with Malay, Chinese, Indian, and indigenous traditions reflected in food, festivals, language, and everyday life. Living costs are moderate compared with many international cities. Foreign employees generally need employer-sponsored authorization, such as an Employment Pass, before starting work. Relocating candidates should confirm sponsorship, healthcare, taxation, housing, schooling, and dependent-pass arrangements with the employer. Public transport and international connectivity are strongest in Kuala Lumpur and Penang.
