The Executive – Human Resources role typically supports recruitment, onboarding, employee records, attendance, performance management, engagement activities and day-to-day HR administration. Applicants are generally expected to hold a degree or professional qualification in Human Resources, Business Management or a related field, with relevant experience in HR operations. Knowledge of Sri Lankan employment practices, HR policies and computerized HR systems is useful. The successful candidate should communicate confidently, handle confidential information responsibly and work well with employees and managers at different levels. MAS Holdings would also expect strong organization, attention to detail, problem-solving ability and a practical, service-oriented approach in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
MAS Holdings is one of South Asia’s largest apparel and textile manufacturers, headquartered in Sri Lanka. The group designs, develops and manufactures clothing, intimate wear, sportswear and performance apparel for leading international brands. MAS operates across multiple countries and is known for innovation, ethical manufacturing, sustainability and strong partnerships with global customers. Its businesses cover apparel manufacturing, design, wearable technology, fabric development and supply-chain services. The company employs a large and diverse workforce and places significant emphasis on employee development, inclusion, workplace wellbeing and responsible business practices. In Sri Lanka, MAS has manufacturing facilities and corporate operations in several locations, providing opportunities in human resources, production, engineering, quality, supply chain, finance and management.
Sri Lanka offers employment opportunities in apparel manufacturing, information technology, tourism, logistics, finance, engineering, healthcare and professional services. Colombo and nearby areas provide the widest range of corporate roles, while industrial zones and regional cities support manufacturing and operational careers. The culture is welcoming and diverse, combining Sinhala, Tamil, Muslim and other traditions. Lifestyle costs are generally lower than in many Western countries, although Colombo is more expensive than rural areas. The island offers beaches, mountains, wildlife, historic cities and convenient domestic travel. Foreign nationals normally require an employment visa or residence authorization sponsored through the employer; working on a tourist visa is not permitted. Relocating candidates should confirm qualifications, contracts, accommodation, medical requirements, taxation and visa procedures with MAS Holdings and Sri Lankan authorities before accepting an offer.
