Working in United Arab Emirates

The United Arab Emirates is not an island but a federation of seven emirates, including Dubai and Abu Dhabi, with extensive coastlines, beaches, and resort destinations. Hospitality offers many opportunities in hotels, restaurants, bars, tourism, events, and luxury retail. The culture is multicultural and respectful, with Islamic traditions influencing dress, public behavior, and alcohol regulations. Lifestyle can be vibrant and modern, though accommodation, transport, and summer heat should be considered. Employers normally arrange an employment visa, work permit, medical examination, and Emirates ID after hiring; working on a tourist visa is not permitted. Many hotel packages include accommodation, meals, transport, health insurance, annual leave, and a return flight. Candidates should verify the written contract, benefits, probation period, and any recruitment fees before relocating. Dubai and Abu Dhabi are well connected, but living costs vary considerably.
