Its properties commonly include restaurants, bars, banquet facilities, spas, pools and extensive guest amenities. Working in Indonesia

Indonesia offers opportunities for experienced hospitality professionals across Bali, Java, Lombok, the Riau Islands and other resort destinations. Bali has the largest international tourism market and a relaxed, multicultural lifestyle, while Jakarta provides stronger corporate, events and luxury-hotel opportunities. Indonesian culture values respect, community, hospitality and religious diversity; modesty and awareness of local customs are important. Living costs vary considerably, with Bali resort areas and Jakarta often more expensive than smaller islands. Foreign nationals normally require employer sponsorship, an appropriate work visa and a limited-stay KITAS; working before approval is not permitted. Employers may assist with immigration, accommodation, flights, insurance and tax administration, but terms should be confirmed in writing. Healthcare and international schooling are strongest in major cities. Indonesia’s tropical climate, traffic, seasonal rainfall and distance between islands should be considered when planning relocation.
