Working in United Arab Emirates

The United Arab Emirates is not an island but a federation of seven emirates, including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah. Hospitality offers many opportunities in hotels, resorts, restaurants, events and tourism, particularly for candidates with international experience. The culture is welcoming and multicultural, while Islamic traditions influence dress, public behaviour and religious holidays. Lifestyle varies from busy city living and shopping to beaches, desert activities and a strong dining scene. Employers commonly sponsor work visas, residency permits, medical checks and Emirates ID applications for overseas hires. Many hotel packages include accommodation, transport, meals, medical insurance and annual airfare, although terms differ by contract. Before relocating, confirm housing, working hours, probation, gratuity, leave entitlement and salary details. Costs are higher in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, so benefits and accommodation are important when comparing offers.
