The Manager/Senior Manager, Digital Acquisition is expected to develop and execute digital marketing strategies that attract qualified customers, increase direct bookings and strengthen Shangri-La’s online presence. Responsibilities typically include managing paid search, social media, display, metasearch and other acquisition channels; overseeing agency partners; monitoring campaign performance; managing budgets; and using analytics to improve conversion and return on investment. Candidates should have several years of digital marketing or performance acquisition experience, strong knowledge of analytics and advertising platforms, commercial awareness, and excellent communication skills. Experience in hospitality, travel or luxury brands is advantageous. The role requires strategic thinking, hands-on campaign management, stakeholder coordination and the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Shangri-La Group is a major luxury hospitality company headquartered in Hong Kong, operating hotels, resorts and related properties across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, North America and other international markets. Its portfolio includes the Shangri-La, Kerry, JEN and Traders brands, with a strong focus on refined service, destination experiences and Asian hospitality values. The company serves leisure and business travellers through luxury accommodation, restaurants, meetings, wellness facilities and loyalty programmes. Shangri-La employs a diverse international workforce and offers opportunities across hotel operations, corporate functions, technology, sales and marketing. In a digital acquisition role, employees support the group’s commercial growth by increasing direct customer engagement, strengthening online channels and improving the effectiveness of marketing investment across multiple markets.
Hong Kong is a dynamic coastal city and international business centre, although it is made up of Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and the New Territories rather than being a single island. Job opportunities are strong in hospitality, finance, technology, retail, aviation, tourism and professional services. The culture blends Cantonese traditions with international influences, and English is widely used in business. Lifestyle options range from high-rise city living, dining and nightlife to beaches, hiking trails and outlying islands. Salaries can be competitive, but housing is expensive, particularly in central districts. Foreign professionals generally need an employment visa sponsored by a Hong Kong employer, with approval based on qualifications, experience and the availability of a genuine position. Employers commonly assist with visa paperwork, while candidates should budget for accommodation deposits, insurance and relocation costs. Public transport is efficient, and daily life is convenient but fast-paced.
