The KYC Ongoing Review role supports UOB’s Private Bank by reviewing and maintaining client due diligence records in line with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Responsibilities typically include assessing customer profiles, beneficial ownership, source of wealth and source of funds; identifying gaps or unusual activity; conducting periodic reviews; documenting findings; and escalating higher-risk cases when necessary. Candidates are generally expected to have experience in KYC, AML, client due diligence, compliance or private banking operations, along with strong analytical and investigative skills. Attention to detail, sound judgment, confidentiality, clear written communication and the ability to manage deadlines are important. Knowledge of Singapore AML regulations and familiarity with private banking clients, wealth structures and risk-based review processes would be advantageous.

UOB is known for its regional connectivity and focus on supporting businesses operating across ASEAN. Its Private Bank serves high-net-worth individuals and families with banking, lending, investment and wealth-planning solutions. The group employs professionals across banking, technology, operations, risk, compliance and customer-facing functions. As a regulated bank, UOB places strong emphasis on responsible banking, financial crime prevention, operational controls, professional standards and compliance with local and international regulatory expectations.
Singapore is a compact, highly connected island city with strong opportunities in banking, financial services, technology, healthcare, logistics, professional services and multinational companies. Its culture is multicultural, combining Chinese, Malay, Indian and international influences, with English widely used in workplaces. The lifestyle is safe, efficient and urban, offering excellent public transport, diverse food, shopping, parks and access to Southeast Asia. Housing can be expensive, particularly in central areas, so newcomers often compare private rentals with shared accommodation. Foreign professionals generally need an employment pass sponsored by an employer; eligibility depends on salary, qualifications, experience and prevailing government criteria. Permanent residence may be considered later but is not guaranteed. New arrivals should arrange housing, healthcare coverage, banking access and tax registration, and understand employment terms before relocating. Singapore’s humid tropical climate and fast-paced professional environment are also important factors to consider.
