Working in United Arab Emirates

The United Arab Emirates is not an island but a Gulf country made up of seven emirates, with Dubai and Abu Dhabi offering the largest hospitality job markets. Opportunities are common in hotels, resorts, restaurants, retail, events, aviation and tourism, especially for candidates with English skills and international experience. UAE culture combines local Emirati traditions with a large expatriate community; respectful dress, punctuality and awareness of Islamic customs are important. Lifestyle options range from beaches and shopping to desert activities, sports and vibrant dining scenes. Employers commonly sponsor work visas, including entry permits, medical checks, Emirates ID processing and residency, but employees should confirm all terms in writing and never pay recruitment fees. Accommodation, meals, transport, health insurance and annual leave may be included in hospitality packages. Dubai can be expensive, so compare salary benefits and housing arrangements carefully before relocating.
