The successful candidate is expected to maintain an organised workstation, control food quality and waste, follow recipes and portion standards, assist with mise en place, and comply with health, safety and sanitation requirements.
Moxy Putrajaya is part of Moxy Hotels, Marriott International’s energetic, design-focused lifestyle brand created for modern travellers. Moxy properties combine comfortable accommodation, social public spaces, technology-friendly facilities and a relaxed, playful atmosphere. Guests are encouraged to spend time in lively communal areas, often centred around the bar and flexible lounge spaces. As a Marriott hotel, Moxy Putrajaya benefits from the group’s international operating standards, training resources, career development opportunities and global hospitality network. The hotel is located in Putrajaya, Malaysia’s planned administrative capital, with access to business districts, government offices, shopping areas and attractions. Its kitchen team supports a contemporary hotel operation serving guests throughout the day, with an emphasis on consistency, efficiency, cleanliness and approachable service.
Malaysia offers strong hospitality opportunities in Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, Penang, Langkawi, Sabah and Sarawak. Hotel, restaurant, resort, culinary, housekeeping and guest-service roles are commonly available, with better prospects for candidates who have recognised training and international experience. The country blends Malay, Chinese, Indian and Indigenous cultures, reflected in its food, festivals and languages. Lifestyle costs are generally moderate, although central Kuala Lumpur and popular islands can be more expensive. Employees enjoy tropical weather, diverse cuisine, beaches, rainforests and convenient public transport in major cities. Foreign workers normally need an employer-sponsored employment pass or relevant work permit before starting work; requirements depend on nationality, salary and position. Employers typically guide applicants through approval and immigration procedures. New arrivals should confirm accommodation, transport, medical coverage and contract terms before relocating. Putrajaya is modern, clean and quieter than Kuala Lumpur, with easy rail and road connections to the capital.
