The Multi-Property Assistant Sales Manager will support government-sector sales across The Abu Dhabi EDITION and Marriott Downtown Abu Dhabi, developing client relationships, managing accounts, coordinating proposals, and helping achieve revenue targets. Candidates are generally expected to have hotel sales experience, strong knowledge of the Abu Dhabi government and corporate market, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and confidence presenting to senior clients. Experience with Marriott systems, CRM tools, account planning, and multi-property sales is advantageous. The role requires professionalism, commercial awareness, strong organization, teamwork, and flexibility to attend client meetings and industry events. Fluency in English is normally required; Arabic or other relevant languages may be beneficial.
The Abu Dhabi EDITION is a luxury lifestyle hotel located in the Al Bateen Marina area of Abu Dhabi. It is part of EDITION Hotels, Marriott International’s boutique luxury brand, known for combining distinctive design, personalized service, high-end dining, nightlife, and cultural experiences. The property caters to leisure travelers, business guests, government clients, and events, offering stylish accommodation, restaurants, bars, meeting facilities, and wellness amenities. Marriott International is one of the world’s largest hospitality companies, operating a broad portfolio of hotel brands across many countries. Employees may benefit from international career opportunities, structured training, hotel discounts, and exposure to global hospitality standards. This multi-property position also supports Marriott Downtown Abu Dhabi, providing broader commercial responsibility across two prominent hotels.
The United Arab Emirates offers strong opportunities in hospitality, tourism, aviation, retail, finance, technology, and government-related business. Abu Dhabi has a polished, multicultural lifestyle, excellent infrastructure, modern healthcare, and a generally safe environment. The culture blends Emirati traditions with a large international community; modest dress and respect for local customs are expected, especially during Ramadan. Residents enjoy beaches, desert trips, museums, restaurants, shopping, and year-round sunshine, although summers are extremely hot. Employers normally arrange employment visas, medical checks, Emirates ID processing, and sometimes accommodation or transport allowances. Before relocating, confirm salary, housing, insurance, flights, probation terms, and visa sponsorship in writing. Dependants can usually be sponsored by eligible residents, subject to salary and documentation requirements. Abu Dhabi is less hectic than Dubai but remains internationally connected and relatively expensive, particularly for housing and schooling.
