About the employer

Al Maha, a Luxury Collection Desert Resort & Spa, Dubai is an exclusive Marriott resort located within the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve. Designed around Bedouin-inspired architecture, the property offers private-pool suites, fine dining, spa treatments and curated desert experiences such as wildlife drives, falconry, camel trekking and nature walks. As part of Marriott International’s Luxury Collection, Al Maha focuses on highly personalised service, privacy and distinctive local experiences. Employees work in a premium hospitality environment serving international guests and VIP travellers. The resort typically provides structured training, opportunities to work across luxury hotel operations and benefits commonly associated with UAE hospitality roles, such as accommodation, meals, transportation, medical coverage and annual leave, subject to the employment package. Its remote desert setting makes attention to detail, teamwork and a genuine understanding of Emirati culture particularly important.

Working in United Arab Emirates

The United Arab Emirates is not an island, but it offers strong opportunities in luxury hotels, restaurants, resorts, aviation, retail, tourism and events, especially in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The culture combines Emirati traditions, Islamic values and a highly international workforce; modest dress and respectful behaviour are expected in public and professional settings. Lifestyle options range from desert activities and beaches to shopping, dining and a lively expatriate community. Employers normally sponsor a work visa, residence permit and medical examination after an offer is accepted. Candidates should confirm whether accommodation, meals, transport, health insurance, flights and gratuity are included. Relocation costs, summer heat, shared staff housing and working weekends or split shifts should be considered. Dubai has excellent transport and services, although living independently can be expensive. New employees should keep passport, qualification and experience documents ready and use only official recruitment channels.
