Working in United Arab Emirates

The United Arab Emirates is not an island but a federation of seven emirates, with Dubai and Abu Dhabi offering the widest range of hospitality, finance, tourism, retail, and technology jobs. The country has a highly international culture, modern infrastructure, excellent shopping and dining, and a warm desert climate. Dubai offers beaches, nightlife, water sports, cultural attractions, and easy access to destinations across the region. Living costs, especially rent, can be high, while many hotel employers provide accommodation, transport, meals, medical insurance, and annual flights. Most expatriates need employer-sponsored residence and work visas; the employer normally manages the application, medical examination, Emirates ID, and labor authorization. Candidates should verify contract terms, accommodation, probation, benefits, and visa conditions before relocating. English is widely used in workplaces, while Arabic is the official language.
