The Executive Assistant Associate supports EY’s Oceania leadership and teams with calendar management, meeting coordination, travel arrangements, expense processing, document preparation, reporting, and day-to-day administrative activities. Candidates are generally expected to have strong organization, communication, and time-management skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to handle confidential information professionally. Experience supporting senior executives, coordinating across time zones, and working in a shared-services or professional-services environment is advantageous. The role requires attention to detail, reliability, sound judgment, adaptability, and a client-service mindset. Because the position supports Oceania stakeholders from the Philippines, flexibility with working hours and confidence communicating with international colleagues may be required.
EY, formerly Ernst & Young, is a global professional-services organization providing assurance, consulting, strategy and transactions, and tax services. Its clients include multinational corporations, government organizations, and growing businesses. EY operates through offices and Global Delivery Services centers worldwide, including the Philippines, where teams provide administrative, technology, finance, analytics, and business-support services to international practices. The company emphasizes integrity, collaboration, inclusive leadership, professional development, and helping clients manage business and technology change. This role is part of the Global Delivery Services organization and supports EY’s Oceania business, allowing employees in the Philippines to work with regional stakeholders while building experience in a large, internationally connected firm.
The Philippines is an archipelago with major employment centers in Metro Manila, Cebu, and Davao. Opportunities are strong in business-process services, technology, finance, healthcare, tourism, and multinational support functions. Filipino culture is generally welcoming, family-oriented, community-minded, and strongly influenced by English-language education and international business. Metro Manila offers extensive career options, shopping, dining, and nightlife, but commuting and housing costs can be challenging; Cebu provides a more relaxed alternative with a growing business sector and access to beaches. Foreign employees normally need an employer-sponsored work visa or permit, while short-term entry rules depend on nationality. Relocating workers should arrange employment authorization, secure housing near the workplace, budget for transportation and healthcare, and check current immigration requirements before traveling.
