EY, formerly Ernst & Young, is a global professional-services organization providing assurance, consulting, strategy, tax, and transaction services. It operates across more than 150 countries and serves organizations ranging from emerging businesses to major multinational companies and public-sector institutions. EY’s Global Delivery Services teams, including operations in the Philippines, support international engagements through technology, analytics, finance, procurement, research, and business-process expertise. The firm promotes its purpose of building a better working world and generally emphasizes collaboration, ethical conduct, learning, inclusion, and professional development. In the Philippines, EY has a significant presence in Metro Manila and offers careers supporting global service lines. Benefits and working arrangements vary by position, but may include health coverage, paid leave, training, flexible or hybrid work, and opportunities to work with international stakeholders.
The Philippines offers strong opportunities in IT services, business-process operations, finance, procurement, analytics, engineering, healthcare, education, and tourism. Metro Manila, including Taguig, is the main corporate hub, while Cebu and Clark are also important employment centers. Filipino culture is generally welcoming, family-oriented, and relationship-driven, with English widely used in professional settings. Lifestyle ranges from busy urban living and shopping to beaches, hiking, and island travel. Costs are lower than in many Western cities, although housing and traffic in Manila can be challenging. Foreign employees usually need an employer-sponsored work visa or appropriate employment permit; requirements depend on nationality and contract length. Relocating typically involves securing an offer, arranging immigration documents, finding accommodation, and obtaining local registration and tax support. Weather is tropical, with a dry season and a rainy, sometimes typhoon-prone season.
