This entry-level role supports the design, configuration, development and implementation of ServiceNow solutions for EY clients. Candidates are expected to have a relevant degree or equivalent experience, an interest in technology consulting, and an understanding of software development, databases, IT service management or cloud platforms. Familiarity with ServiceNow, JavaScript, web technologies or ITIL is advantageous, but training may be provided. The successful candidate should demonstrate analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, clear communication and a willingness to learn. The role also requires teamwork, client-facing professionalism, attention to detail and the flexibility to work across different projects and industries.
EY is a global professional-services organisation providing assurance, tax, strategy, transactions and consulting services to businesses, governments and other institutions. Its technology consulting practice helps clients modernise operations, improve customer and employee experiences, manage risk and adopt digital platforms such as ServiceNow. EY operates across more than 150 countries and combines international scale with local market expertise. In Ireland, the firm has a significant presence in Dublin and other locations, serving clients across financial services, government, technology, consumer products and industry. Employees typically work in multidisciplinary teams and may receive structured training, professional development and opportunities to gain technology certifications. EY places emphasis on collaboration, integrity, inclusiveness and helping clients achieve sustainable, measurable business outcomes.
Ireland offers strong opportunities in technology consulting, software, financial services, pharmaceuticals, cybersecurity, cloud computing and multinational operations, particularly in Dublin, Cork, Galway and Limerick. The culture is generally friendly, social and informal, with a strong tradition of music, sport and community life. Dublin provides the largest employment market but has high accommodation costs; other cities can offer a quieter and sometimes more affordable lifestyle. Ireland has excellent connections to Europe, although weather is changeable and public transport outside major cities can be limited. EEA and Swiss citizens can live and work without a visa. Non-EEA applicants normally need an employment permit before starting work, with eligibility depending on the occupation, salary and employer. Candidates should check current Department of Enterprise, Tourism and Employment rules, arrange accommodation early and budget carefully for rent, healthcare, transport and daily expenses.
