About the employer

Halliburton is one of the world’s largest providers of products and services to the energy industry. Founded in 1919 and headquartered in Houston, Texas, the company operates in many countries and supports oil and gas exploration, drilling, well construction, completion, production, and evaluation. Its services include well stimulation, cementing, drilling technologies, wireline and perforating, digital solutions, and production optimization. Halliburton employs engineers, technicians, field specialists, commercial professionals, and corporate staff across global operations. The company is known for its technically demanding work environment, safety focus, international career opportunities, and involvement in complex energy projects. In Singapore, its activities support regional customers and operations across Asia-Pacific, creating opportunities in quality, engineering, supply chain, field services, and administration.

Working in Singapore

Singapore is a compact, highly connected city-state and a major regional hub for energy, engineering, logistics, finance, technology, and professional services. Job opportunities are strongest for skilled professionals with experience in oil and gas, quality management, engineering, digital systems, maritime services, and supply chain operations. The culture is multicultural, efficient, and business-oriented, with English widely used at work. Lifestyle is convenient and generally safe, although housing and daily expenses can be high. Public transport is excellent, and healthcare and infrastructure are well developed. Foreign employees usually require an employer-sponsored work pass, such as an Employment Pass or S Pass, subject to salary, qualifications, and government approval. Candidates should confirm eligibility before relocating. Employers may assist with visa processing, flights, temporary accommodation, and relocation, but benefits vary. Popular residential areas include the city centre, East Coast, Queenstown, and suburban districts near MRT stations.
