Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not an island, but its coastal resorts offer a lifestyle similar to a resort-island destination. Hospitality, tourism, wellness, food and beverage, aviation, retail, and luxury services provide strong employment opportunities, particularly in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah, and Fujairah. The culture blends Emirati traditions with a large international community; modest dress and respect for Islamic customs are expected. Lifestyle options include beaches, desert activities, shopping, dining, water sports, and mountain trips. Most overseas employees work under an employer-sponsored residence visa, with the company usually arranging medical testing, Emirates ID processing, and work authorization. Confirm whether accommodation, transport, meals, insurance, and flights are included before accepting an offer. Fujairah is quieter and more affordable than Dubai, though car travel is useful and summer temperatures are extremely hot.
