Company Info

Cooinda Lodge Kakadu is a remote tourism and accommodation property within Kakadu National Park in Australia's Northern Territory. It provides lodge accommodation, camping, dining, tours and experiences that showcase the park's Aboriginal heritage, wetlands, wildlife and dramatic landscapes. The property is operated in partnership with Accor, a major international hospitality group with hotels, resorts and tourism businesses across many countries. Working at Cooinda combines conventional hospitality service with a destination-focused guest experience, often welcoming domestic and international visitors exploring Kakadu. Employees typically work as part of a close team in an isolated environment, where flexibility, practical problem-solving and respect for local culture and the natural environment are important. The business supports tourism in the Top End and offers seasonal and ongoing opportunities across food and beverage, housekeeping, reception, maintenance, tours and other operational areas.

Destination Guide

Australia is a large island country with opportunities in hospitality, tourism, healthcare, trades, agriculture, technology and education. Regional destinations such as Kakadu offer a relaxed outdoor lifestyle, strong links to Aboriginal culture and nature, and access to hiking, wetlands and wildlife, but services and shopping can be limited. The climate in the Northern Territory is tropical, with a hot wet season and a warmer, drier season. Australian workplaces generally value punctuality, direct communication, teamwork and workplace safety. International applicants need the correct visa: common options include Working Holiday visas, employer-sponsored visas and other skilled or temporary programs, subject to age, nationality, occupation and current immigration rules. Before relocating, check work rights, health insurance, tax registration, banking, transport and accommodation. Remote employers may provide staff housing, meals or transport, but conditions vary, so confirm these details in writing. Darwin is the nearest major city and the usual gateway to Kakadu.
