Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not an island country, although this position is based on Al Marjan Island, a developing waterfront destination in Ras Al Khaimah. Hospitality, tourism, retail, aviation, construction, healthcare, and technology offer regular employment opportunities. UAE culture blends Islamic traditions, Arab hospitality, and a highly international population. Respectful dress, courtesy, and consideration during Ramadan are important. Lifestyle options include beaches, desert trips, shopping malls, restaurants, water sports, and cultural attractions. Employers normally sponsor work visas, arrange medical testing, and provide an Emirates ID after arrival; employees should not work on a tourist visa. Resort packages may include accommodation, meals, transport, insurance, and annual leave. Before relocating, confirm the contract, salary, gratuity, housing conditions, probation terms, and flight benefits. Ras Al Khaimah is generally quieter and less expensive than Dubai, while Dubai is accessible for weekend visits.
