Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not an island, but it offers strong hospitality opportunities across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah, and other coastal destinations. Hotels, resorts, restaurants, aviation, tourism, and retail regularly recruit international staff, including front office professionals. The culture is modern and multicultural, while Islamic traditions influence dress, public behavior, working practices, and major holidays. Lifestyle options range from beaches and desert activities to shopping, dining, sports, and cultural attractions. Ras Al Khaimah is generally quieter and more relaxed than Dubai, with beaches, mountains, and resort communities. Most expatriate employees enter on an employer-sponsored employment visa; the company normally arranges work permits, medical checks, Emirates ID processing, and residency formalities. Candidates should confirm accommodation, transport, insurance, probation terms, leave, gratuity, and airfare provisions before accepting an offer. Living costs vary considerably, with housing being the largest expense when accommodation is not provided.
