Company Info

South Palms Resort and Spa Panglao is a beachfront luxury resort in Panglao, Bohol, operating under Accor’s MGallery Hotel Collection. The property combines a relaxed tropical setting with upscale accommodation, dining, spa services, events, and activities for leisure and business guests. Located near the island’s well-known beaches and tourism attractions, the resort serves both domestic and international visitors. As part of MGallery, it is positioned around distinctive, locally connected hospitality rather than a standardized hotel experience. The resort’s teams work across guest services, food and beverage, rooms, wellness, sales, events, and operations to deliver a personalized stay. Employees can expect a tourism-focused workplace, collaboration with a broad range of departments, and exposure to the standards and systems of an international hotel group. Specific benefits and employment conditions depend on the local employment contract.

Destination Guide

The Philippines offers hospitality, tourism, sales, teaching, healthcare, technology, and service-sector opportunities, especially in Manila, Cebu, Boracay, Palawan, and Bohol. Panglao provides a slower island lifestyle, warm weather, beaches, diving, outdoor activities, and a strong resort economy, although transport and some services are more limited than in major cities. Filipino culture is generally welcoming, family-oriented, community-minded, and English is widely used in workplaces. Living costs vary; accommodation near major resorts can be relatively expensive, while local food and transport are usually affordable. Foreign nationals need the appropriate employment authorization, commonly an employer-supported work permit or 9(g) work visa, and should not work on a tourist status. Employers may assist with documentation, but requirements and processing times vary. New arrivals should confirm salary, housing, insurance, transportation, taxes, and visa support before relocating.
