Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not an island, but it offers coastal living, beaches, desert landscapes, and major tourism hubs. Hospitality opportunities are widely available in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah, and other resort destinations, particularly in hotels, restaurants, events, and tourism. The culture blends Emirati traditions with a large international community; modest dress, respectful behavior, and awareness of Islamic customs are important. Lifestyle is modern and convenient, with shopping, dining, outdoor activities, and strong expatriate networks, although summer temperatures are extremely high. Foreign employees generally need an employer-sponsored work visa, residence permit, medical examination, and Emirates ID. Employers commonly arrange sponsorship and may provide accommodation, transport, insurance, and flights. Candidates should confirm contract terms, probation, gratuity, working hours, and benefits before relocating. Ras Al Khaimah is quieter and more resort-focused than Dubai, with lower living costs and easy access to mountains and beaches.
