Finance Officer

Job Description

The Finance Officer supports the hotel’s daily financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, invoice processing, bank reconciliations, cash handling, reporting, month-end procedures and maintaining accurate financial records. Candidates are generally expected to have finance or accounting experience, strong attention to detail, sound computer skills and confidence using Microsoft Office and accounting systems. Hospitality experience is advantageous, along with knowledge of Australian financial practices. The role requires reliability, confidentiality, good organisation and the ability to meet deadlines in a busy hotel environment. Clear communication and a collaborative approach are important when working with department managers, suppliers and the wider Novotel team.
