Job Description

The Food and Beverage Attendant supports restaurant, bar, banquet and room-service operations at Mercure Brisbane Spring Hill. Typical responsibilities include welcoming guests, taking orders, serving food and drinks, clearing and resetting tables, processing payments, maintaining service standards and following food-safety procedures. Candidates should have strong customer-service and communication skills, a professional presentation, attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a busy hotel environment. Previous hospitality experience is helpful, although training may be available. Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays is expected. Responsible service of alcohol certification may be required for duties involving alcohol.
