Destination Guide

Thailand offers far more than island resorts: Bangkok provides strong opportunities in hotels, restaurants, events, tourism, retail and corporate services, while Phuket, Koh Samui, Krabi and Pattaya have seasonal demand for chefs, hospitality managers, wellness staff and tour professionals. Thai culture values respect, politeness, hierarchy and warm personal service. Bangkok is energetic, affordable by international standards and well connected, although traffic, heat and air pollution can be challenging. Island life is more relaxed, but employment may be seasonal and housing or transport costs can vary. Foreign nationals normally need an appropriate Non-Immigrant B visa and a Thai work permit arranged with employer support before working legally. Relocating candidates should prepare authenticated qualifications, a police clearance where required, medical documents and a passport with sufficient validity. Learning basic Thai is helpful, even in international hotels.
