Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not an island, but Dubai offers a highly international lifestyle with beaches, shopping, restaurants, desert activities, and excellent public transport. Hospitality provides strong job opportunities, especially in hotels, restaurants, resorts, events, and tourism. Workplace culture is multicultural, service-focused, and generally professional, with English widely used. Islamic traditions shape public life, so modest dress, respect for local customs, and sensitivity during Ramadan are important. Employers commonly sponsor employment visas, arrange medical testing and Emirates ID processing, and may provide accommodation, transport, meals, insurance, or annual air tickets; benefits vary by contract. Candidates should verify the written offer, visa status, working hours, accommodation, probation terms, and gratuity provisions before relocating. Dubai is safe and convenient, though rent and daily expenses can be high. New arrivals should budget carefully, carry valid passport documents, and use only official recruitment channels.
