Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not an island, but it offers coastal resort destinations and strong hospitality opportunities. Jobs are available in hotels, restaurants, resorts, tourism, aviation, retail, and events, especially in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Ras Al Khaimah. UAE culture blends Emirati traditions with a highly international population; respectful dress and behavior, especially during Ramadan, are important. Lifestyle can include beaches, desert trips, shopping, dining, and outdoor activities, although summers are extremely hot. Employers normally sponsor a work visa, residence permit, medical examination, and Emirates ID for successful overseas hires. Confirm the package carefully, including accommodation, transport, meals, insurance, flights, service charge, working hours, and probation terms. Ras Al Khaimah is generally quieter and more relaxed than Dubai, with lower living costs and easy access to mountains and beaches.
