Destination Guide

Spain’s main island destinations include Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza, Formentera, Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote and Fuerteventura. Hospitality creates regular opportunities in hotels, restaurants, beach clubs, resorts, tourism services, wellness and events, with seasonal hiring particularly common from spring to autumn. Island life offers warm weather, outdoor activities, strong local food traditions and a relaxed social culture, although housing can be expensive and limited in popular areas. Spanish is important for daily life, while English and other European languages are valuable in tourism. EU, EEA and Swiss citizens can generally work in Spain after registration; non-EU applicants normally need an employer-sponsored work permit before starting employment. Candidates should confirm whether accommodation, meals, transport and relocation assistance are included. The referenced Fairmont property is on mainland Cádiz, not the Spanish islands, but similar resort conditions apply.
