Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not an island but a modern Gulf federation offering extensive opportunities in hospitality, tourism, aviation, retail, construction, finance, and technology. Abu Dhabi provides a polished, safe lifestyle with beaches, museums, shopping centres, restaurants, desert activities, and excellent public services. The culture blends Emirati traditions with a large international community; respectful dress and behaviour are expected, especially during Ramadan. Most expatriate employees enter on an employer-sponsored residence visa, with the company usually arranging work permits, medical checks, and Emirates ID processing. Many hotel roles include accommodation or an allowance, meals, transport, health insurance, and annual leave benefits. Candidates should confirm contract terms, housing arrangements, probation conditions, and recruitment fees before relocating. Living costs vary, with housing being the largest expense.
