Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not an island, but it offers coastal living, beaches and excellent hospitality opportunities. Tourism, hotels, restaurants, events and luxury retail provide regular jobs for international workers, especially in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah. The culture blends Emirati traditions with a large expatriate community; modest dress, respectful behavior and awareness of Islamic customs are important. Lifestyle options range from relaxed beach resorts and outdoor activities to shopping, dining and desert excursions. Employers normally sponsor a residence and work visa, arrange medical testing and Emirates ID processing, and may provide accommodation, transport, meals and health insurance. Candidates should confirm the written contract, benefits, working hours and recruitment fees before relocating. Ras Al Khaimah is generally quieter and less expensive than Dubai, while still offering modern services, beaches, mountains and a growing resort sector.
