Job Description

The Handyperson / Gardener supports the hotel’s day-to-day presentation, safety and maintenance. Responsibilities may include gardening, lawn and plant care, basic repairs, painting, equipment checks, rubbish removal and assisting the engineering team with preventative maintenance. Candidates should have practical trade, gardening or maintenance experience, sound knowledge of tools and workplace safety, and the ability to work independently and respond to hotel needs promptly. Good physical fitness, attention to detail, reliability and a flexible approach to shifts are expected. Experience in a hotel or commercial property environment is advantageous. Relevant Australian work rights, a driver’s licence and appropriate tickets or qualifications may also be required.
