Job Description

The Director of Finance leads the hotel’s financial strategy, accounting operations, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, cash management, payroll oversight and regulatory compliance. The role typically requires a degree in accounting, finance or business, with CPA or CA qualifications highly regarded, together with substantial experience in hotel or hospitality finance and knowledge of Australian financial regulations. Candidates should demonstrate strong commercial judgment, analytical and communication skills, leadership capability, and proficiency in finance systems and Microsoft Office. The successful candidate is expected to partner with department leaders, improve profitability, maintain effective internal controls, support audits, and provide accurate, timely information to the General Manager and ownership.
