Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not an island but a federation of seven emirates, with Dubai and Abu Dhabi offering the widest range of hospitality, culinary, retail, tourism and business jobs. The culture blends Emirati traditions with a large international community; modest dress, respect for local customs and awareness of Islamic holidays are important. Dubai offers modern infrastructure, beaches, shopping, restaurants and active nightlife, while living costs—especially rent—can be high. Employers commonly sponsor work visas, arrange medical fitness checks and issue Emirates ID and residency documentation after hiring. Many hotel contracts include accommodation, meals, transport, medical insurance and annual leave, making them attractive for overseas workers. Candidates should verify the written offer, working hours, benefits, recruitment fees and accommodation before travel. Tourist visas do not permit employment, and workers should only begin after receiving the appropriate employment authorization.
