Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not an island, but Ras Al Khaimah is a coastal emirate with beaches, mountains, desert landscapes and a relaxed lifestyle compared with Dubai. Hospitality, tourism, food and beverage, construction, aviation, retail, healthcare and technology provide major employment opportunities. The culture blends Emirati traditions with a large international community; modest dress, respectful conduct and awareness of Islamic customs are important. Daily life offers modern supermarkets, restaurants, malls, outdoor activities and excellent road connections, although summers are extremely hot. Employers normally sponsor work visas, medical checks, Emirates ID processing and residency for eligible employees. Many hotel roles include accommodation, meals, transport, insurance and annual flights, but these benefits should be confirmed in the contract. Candidates should bring verified qualifications, passport documents and experience records, and should never work on a tourist visa.
