Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not an island, but Ras Al Khaimah is a coastal emirate with beaches, mountains, desert landscapes, and a quieter lifestyle than Dubai. Hospitality offers strong opportunities in resorts, hotels, restaurants, events, wellness, and tourism, particularly for candidates with international experience and language skills. UAE culture blends Islamic traditions with a highly international business environment; modest dress and respect for local customs are important. Lifestyle benefits include modern facilities, warm weather, outdoor activities, shopping, and tax-free personal income in most employment situations. Employers normally arrange a work permit and residence visa after hiring, with medical checks and Emirates ID registration required. Candidates should confirm accommodation, transport, insurance, annual flights, leave, gratuity, and probation terms before accepting. Ras Al Khaimah living costs are generally lower than Dubai, while commuting or employer-provided transport may be useful.
