Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not an island, but it offers diverse coastal destinations and strong opportunities in hotels, restaurants, tourism, retail, aviation, and events. Ras Al Khaimah is known for beaches, mountains, desert activities, and a quieter lifestyle than Dubai or Abu Dhabi. The culture blends Emirati traditions with a large international workforce; modest dress, respect for religion, and professional courtesy are important. Hospitality employees commonly work long or rotating shifts, while resorts may provide accommodation, meals, transport, insurance, and flights. Employers usually sponsor a work visa, residence permit, medical examination, and Emirates ID for overseas hires. Candidates should confirm contract terms, probation, benefits, gratuity, and recruitment fees before relocating. Costs and lifestyle vary, with Dubai generally more expensive than Ras Al Khaimah.
