The EEMC Production Planning Officer supports aircraft maintenance planning by coordinating work packages, schedules, manpower, materials, tooling and production priorities. The role typically requires a relevant diploma or degree, aviation or engineering knowledge, strong planning and coordination skills, and familiarity with maintenance or enterprise systems. Experience in aircraft maintenance, engineering production control or a similar operational environment is advantageous. Candidates are expected to organise multiple tasks accurately, monitor progress, identify scheduling risks, communicate effectively with technical teams and meet strict safety, quality and regulatory standards. As this is an Emiratisation role, it is intended for eligible UAE nationals.
Emirates is a major international airline headquartered in Dubai and part of the Emirates Group. It operates a large global passenger and cargo network through its hub at Dubai International Airport, serving destinations across the Middle East, Asia, Africa, Europe, the Americas and Australasia. The airline is known for its wide-body fleet, international workforce and substantial investment in engineering, technology, customer service and operational reliability. Emirates Engineering maintains and supports the airline’s aircraft through facilities including the Emirates Engineering Maintenance Centre. Employees may receive benefits such as medical coverage, travel privileges, annual leave and other allowances, depending on grade and employment terms. The group also offers structured career development and training opportunities across aviation, corporate and operational functions.
The United Arab Emirates is not an island but a federation of seven emirates, with Dubai and Abu Dhabi offering the largest concentration of aviation, engineering, logistics, technology and business opportunities. The country has a multicultural, modern lifestyle, excellent infrastructure, warm weather and extensive shopping, dining and leisure options. Arabic is the official language, while English is widely used at work. Islam influences public life, although expatriates enjoy diverse communities and international amenities. Most overseas employees require employer-sponsored residence and work visas; UAE nationals applying through Emiratisation programmes follow different eligibility and employment arrangements. Relocation normally involves medical checks, Emirates ID processing, housing decisions and arranging schooling or healthcare where needed. Living costs, especially rent in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, can be high, so salary allowances and benefits should be reviewed carefully.
