Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is a federation of seven emirates, not an island, with Dubai and Abu Dhabi offering the broadest employment opportunities. Aviation, logistics, finance, technology, hospitality, construction, healthcare, and retail are major sectors. The culture combines Islamic traditions, Emirati hospitality, and a highly international population; modest dress and respect for local customs are appreciated. Lifestyle options range from modern city living and shopping to beaches, desert activities, and cultural attractions. Employers generally sponsor work visas, medical checks, Emirates ID registration, and residency permits for overseas hires, subject to UAE regulations. Dependants may be sponsored when income and accommodation requirements are met. Dubai is convenient but relatively expensive, while Sharjah and some Abu Dhabi areas can offer lower housing costs. Candidates should confirm salary benefits, accommodation, insurance, annual leave, flights, and visa responsibilities before relocating.
