Job Description

The Director of Business Development is responsible for identifying new commercial opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and growing revenue for Shangri-La in the Philippines. Typical requirements include a bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality, marketing, or a related field, together with substantial experience in hotel sales, business development, or commercial management. The successful candidate should have strong knowledge of the Philippine corporate, leisure, and events markets, excellent negotiation and presentation skills, and an established professional network. Shangri-La expects a commercially minded leader who can create long-term client relationships, develop market strategies, lead business initiatives, monitor performance, and work effectively with sales, marketing, revenue, and hotel operations teams.
