Job Description

The Director of Food & Beverage leads all dining, bar, banquet, room-service and related operations at Shangri-La Hambantota. Candidates are expected to bring substantial experience in luxury hotels or resorts, strong commercial awareness and a proven record of managing large, multicultural teams. The role requires excellent knowledge of food and beverage standards, budgeting, forecasting, menu development, service quality, hygiene and guest satisfaction. The successful candidate should be an inspiring leader with strong communication, training and problem-solving skills, able to build revenue while maintaining Shangri-La service standards. Experience in a resort environment, familiarity with international guests and relevant hospitality qualifications would be advantageous.
