Events Manager

Job Description

The Events Manager plans, coordinates and delivers conferences, weddings, social functions and corporate events, ensuring smooth operations and excellent guest experiences. Requirements typically include a degree or diploma in hospitality, events, business or a related field, along with several years of hotel or event-management experience. The candidate should have strong planning, budgeting, negotiation and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage suppliers, clients and operational teams. Flexibility, professional presentation, problem-solving ability and willingness to work weekends, evenings and public holidays are expected. Experience with luxury hotels, banquet operations and event-sales systems is an advantage.
