Destination Guide

Malaysia offers hospitality opportunities in Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Langkawi, Kota Kinabalu, Johor Bahru and other resort destinations. Hotels, restaurants, beach resorts, conventions and tourism businesses regularly recruit sales, food and beverage, front office and culinary professionals. Life is generally affordable compared with many international destinations, with excellent food, shopping, tropical weather and a multicultural environment combining Malay, Chinese, Indian and indigenous traditions. Langkawi and parts of Sabah and Sarawak provide a relaxed island or resort lifestyle, while Kuala Lumpur offers a faster urban experience. Foreign employees normally need an employer-sponsored Employment Pass, with approval handled through Malaysian immigration authorities. Candidates should confirm sponsorship, accommodation, insurance, tax obligations and contract terms before relocating.
